Terms and Conditions

  1. All cats boarding need to be vaccinated against Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu, which must have been given more than 14 days prior to boarding. We need to view an up to date vaccination certificate on each visit that we will retain until your return. Cats without this will not be admitted.
  2. Please ensure your cat has received the recommended flea treatment prior to attending, please notify us of the brand used.
  3. Only cats from the same household can share accommodation.
  4. On the rare occurrence of a cat becoming ill during its stay, we will contact your vet to seek advice (if available), if your vet is not available we will contact our vet to seek advice. Any costs incurred remain the responsibility of the cat's owner.
  5. Every care is taken with cats staying with us, we cannot be held responsible for any illness, disease or death of a cat whilst boarding.
  6. Any current or ongoing problems with a cat's health or temperament must be notified to us at the time of booking.
  7. Sorry, we cannot accept un-neutered males.
  8. Please be aware that for reasons of safety, we will turn away any cats which are suffering from or which are suspected of suffering from any form of infectious or contagious disease. All cats are examined on arrival and we reserve the right not to accept any cats which show signs of ill-health, pending further advice from a veterinary surgeon.
  9. A non refundable booking fee of 50% of the total bill is payable at the time of booking.
  10. The balance of your booking fees is payable in full at the time of arrival.
  11. If you cancel your booking or your booking is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, the booking fee is forfeited.
  12. There is a minimum fee of 3 days boarding at the cattery.
  13. If you cancel your booking within 7 days of arrival, the full balance is payable.
  14. In order to keep our costs down we can only accept payment by cash, cheque (this must clear prior to your arrival) or Direct Bank Payment.
  15. Boarding fees are charged on a daily basis from the arrival date, irrelevant of time of arrival or time of departure. The chalet will be available for your cat/cats from opening time on the day of arrival to closing time on the day of departure.
  16. A provisional booking will only be held for 3 days.
  17. A minimum fee of 5 days boarding is charged for Christmas, New Year and Easter.
  18. Please arrive during the opening times and at least 15 minutes prior to closing time.
  19. All cats brought in on arrival must be in suitable carriers and not in your arms.
  20. You can only deliver your cats or collect them during opening times:-
    • March to September
      • Monday to Friday 09:00 - 10:00 and 16:00 - 18:00
      • Saturday 09:00 - 10:00
      • Sunday 09:00 - 10:00
    • October to February
      • Monday to Friday 08:30 - 09:30 and 16:00 - 18:00
      • Saturday 08:30 - 09:30
      • Sunday 09:00 -10:00
  21. The Cattery is closed on all Bank Holidays for arrivals and departures unless otherwise stated.
  22. All prices include food - if your cat is on a specialist veterinary diets please provide this.
  23. Winter Heating Tariff - Due to the rising cost of Energy, we have introduced a Heating Tariff from 1st October to the 31st March. If the temperature in the cattery drops to 10 degrees C, as per the licensing regulations, the heating will be turned on. The cost per day, per chalet is £2.50 in addition to the daily boarding fees.
  24. Terms and Conditions can be revised or updated at anytime and without notice.
  25. Privacy Policy - any data that we may hold will remain confidential and will not be sold, lent or hired to any third party.
  26. Please be advised that if you are booking for the following year that fees may change and we will keep you advised.
  27. A designated contact number must be provided where you have been delayed on holiday in case we cannot accommodate an extension of stay.
